OK, that's not quite true. He spent ages and I just went "yeah, that's pretty rad ". If you looks closely, you might spot a few little adventure details we've added to the design. Usually I tell a story about how a particular Tshirt design came about, but do I really have to do that with this one? It says 'Adventure Addict', because, ah, I really fucking love adventure. Obviously. One thing I will say is I'm basically the least adventurous person I know, and scared of everything from snakes and spiders to the dark and lightning. Although I do love adventure, my brand of adventure is probably a little milder than many. So don't think you have to juggle chainsaws while skydiving on to the top of Mt Everest to wear one of these. NOTE: These are printed black on charcoal/burgundy, so it’s pretty subtle. When I was writing my book The Swashbucklers Guide to Running Away from Dinosaurs I had to write lots of words. Because, you know, it’s a book and books have words in them. When I was looking for a bit of theme to wrap it all up, I came up with ‘Dream Big. Run Far.’ and finished the book up with that thought. For many years now, I've lived by the mantra 'Ordinary is my Enemy'. It's one of the core ideas behind the Swashbucklers Manifesto in fact. Now I've decided to take it up a notch. These enamel pins/badges/whatever you call them, are cool little things that you can use for all sorts of things. Pin 'em on your top, your backpack, get two and use them as ear rings, whack it in your schnozz if you have a nose piercing, any other piercings (no judgement), emergency toothpick... the uses really are endless.
