After mentoring a lot of young creatives over the years, I got sick of saying the same things over and over again and decided to write The Swashbucklers Guide to Becoming an Astronaut with a collection of some of the best advice I could think of, and the best advice from some other awesome creative industry people.
After that, I realised there really needed to be some coaching on more practical job hunting skills, so went on to create the Job Hunter’s Boot Camp. And of course, in there, I talked a bit about the importance of ‘networking’. Which was all well and good until I had a few people ask me if I had any practical tips about how to actually do that, so yep, you guessed it, I went on and created this series of video content with me waving my hands around a lot, to go along with it.
