For those of you who like to know the story behind a picture, here’s the story behind this one.
An absolutely iconic bird most of you will be familiar with. But holy heck are they beautiful. Sometimes when I see them I take them for granted a bit because they’re quite common where I live, but then I remember, these are birds that literally have every colour of the rainbow on them and they. are. incredible. Unless you have an apple or almond tree in which case they’re a massive pain in the ass. But they are just really beautiful birds. This one plonked itself on a nice perch in Belair National Park and I thought right, if you’re gonna pose, I’m gonna paparazzi you mate.
