Up until recently, when I would make videos, I would use what’s known as ‘library music’ – I would pay a fee to access a library of music people had written and recorded – possibly themselves the ‘old fashioned way’, possibly with AI. So I’d pay a subscription, search for an appropriate piece of music, download and use it. Increasingly I was having trouble bringing my videos to life with the right piece of music so I started creating my own – in collaboration with our Robot Overlord. (AI).
This gave me the creative freedom to custom make tracks in a short amount of time, some of which you guys have asked about, so I will do my best to add some of them here for your listening pleasure.

AI DISCLOSURE: Although I can and do write music and have done on and off for many years, all of these music tracks are ‘AI assisted’. This means that while I always write the lyrics, and have various levels of input into the composition and production, the vocals are 100% AI and the performance/production is also AI – which means it’s built off the back of actual creative works by actual creative artists. I feel deeply uncomfortable about AI in general and, being a creative professional myself, about stealing the works of incredible, talented creative people. Which makes me a giant bloody hypocrite for using it, but it’s the only practical way I have to bring my musical ideas to life in a short amount of time. Please remember to celebrate and reward our creative community if and when you can.
